The story of Siddhalepa originates from Walpola, Imaduwa, a remote village in the Galle District, in the deep south of Sri Lanka. The tradition of practicing ayurveda descended from great-grandfather to grandfather, to father and presently to the son, Deshabandu Dr. Victor Hettigoda, Chairman of the reputed Siddhalepa Group of companies; a highly respected family with more than 200 years of ayurvedic scholastic experience.

Hettigoda Industries (Pvt) Ltd manufacture herbal balm, herbal toiletries, ayurveda beverages, tonics and oils, which are exported to countries the world over. All ayurveda products used at the Siddhalepa Resort, Spas and the Hospital are exclusively manufactured by Hettigoda Industries (Pvt) Ltd., with approval from Ministry of Health for ayurvedic preparations in Sri Lanka & European Health approvals. Our ayurveda products can now be bought over the counter in those countries.
